Book 1 - Moonchildren: Cedar Grove

After the Apocalypse, life has never been the same on Earth, especially for those who live in North America. The east coast is an uninhabited, toxic wasteland, teeming with wildlife that has been altered beyond recognition. Some say it was nuclear. Some say it was magic. Everyone agrees that the dragon shifters are to blame. To be a dragon is to walk hand in hand with death. To be a magic user is to be shunned and hated.

Robert Aaron has never ventured far from the compound in which he grew up, but at sixteen-years-old, he’s deemed ready. His mission? Locate the secret base of sentient, alien cat-people on the east coast of North America. It seems simple enough until he meets his partner for the mission. Din Smith, as he will be known on Earth, is barely a teenager, only two years younger than Robert himself. The boy is from another planet that has a vested interest in locating the base.

All that matters to Robert is finding the base and protecting the humans from those that would threaten them, whether they be alien or dragon.  Trained to hunt dragons from the time he was a child, Robert is a dragon shifter himself. He knows how dangerous his kind can be. But Din disagrees. On his planet, dragons are considered sacred. Forced to work together to find the hidden base, Robert and Din agree on one thing. They must keep Robert’s dragon and Din’s magic concealed lest the people in the town in which they are now residing, Cedar Grove, turn against them.

Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. Sometimes… ignorance is a curse.
